Ehrenreich's forte is using her clear writing style and insightful vision to explain what's really going on in complex situations and to suggest ways of mitigating the damage. She's respected a little feared. This is Barbara Ehrenreich having a good time and it is a delight. You'll learn about ecstasy and Dionysis and where civilization went wrong. Honestly, it will make you run out and dance in the streets yourself, it's that good.

It can't be all about our hearts and souls, though. Sometimes the best thinking and feeling comes in the midst of a long, fierce walk. We love this book for its clear instructions and for the vision of our healthy selves, body and soul.

This one is simply a thing of beauty, sometimes dark beauty--but beauty nonetheless. Saint lore and saints in art, and excellent commentary. This is a lovely gift but also a nice devotional book. 

For the purpose of keeping our sanity and for ease of cataloguing, we divide all this knowledge into some cultural categories.  Those categories include: American Indian Studies, Bible Study and Reference, Women's Spirituality, Eastern Religions (Buddhism, Hinduism, Tao), Islam, Judaism, Metaphysics and Young People/Children.
